A peaceful escape by the lake

Our stay at Thaulle Ayurveda Resort was a joyous retreat. Awaiting us were tastefully decorated rooms with magnificent lake views, perfect for early mornings. The staff were genuinely attentive, ensuring our every need was met. The Ayurvedic treatments by skilled therapists were a highlight of our stay, leaving us rejuvenated. Dining outdoors under the stars added a magical touch, and the local wildlife, from pelicans to water buffaloes, made the experience enchanting.

While the resort's seclusion was charming, it may be too far from Tissamaharama's main attractions for some. the evenings brought mosquitoes, which reminded us to carry repellent with us.

after long days of exploring, the place was so soothing and beautiful, with amazing views over the lake and just a short distance from several attractions like Tissa Wewa and Tissa Dagoba, allowing for easy morning strolls to discover the area.

The complimentary Ayurvedic treatments were a wonderful way to unwind after a long day.

The location, while serene, might feel a bit isolated for those wanting to explore nearby attractions without a tuktuk.

With stunning lake views, every meal was delightful and the warm service made us feel right at home. Our spacious room featured large glass doors leading to a beautiful balcony, perfect for enjoying morning tranquility.

Had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake from our Ayurveda Deluxe Room. The food was tasty, with lots of fresh ingredients. We also tried the canoeing and safari services, making the trip even more fun. Just a heads up, if you need evening outings, there might be some bugs around.

The only downside was the complimentary treatment. it could have had more pressure since it was a bit too gentle for my taste.

We enjoyed various activities like canoeing and truly appreciated the serene atmosphere. The staff was keen on making our stay memorable, especially when they arranged a delightful safari for us. With our dog in tow, the spacious grounds were a perfect fit for our family.

the weather was a bit rainy. but the spacious balcony with stunning lake views made up for it! ! the dining area by the garden was breathtaking. and the staff were super attentive.

Traditional fish dishes were well-prepared and delicious, adding a highlight to mealtimes. the complimentary treatment lacked adequate pressure, and with no a la carte meal options on New Year's Eve, dining choices were limited. the low beds were challenging for someone with mobility issues.
